چکیده

—In this paper, MIMO (Multiple-Input-Multiple Output) system based on turbo equalization techniques which LDPC (Low Density Parity Check) codes were outer code and STTC (Space Time Trellis Code) were employed as an inner code are studied. LDPC decoder and STTC decoder are connected through the interleaving and de-interleaving that updates each other's information repeatedly. On the receiver side, in processing the turbo equalization with STTC decoder, in order to feed extrinsic information to STTC decoder, the extrinsic information of LDPC decoder must be two bit processing. However LDPC codes can't be applied to these system because LDPC decoder require just one bit processing. Therefore this paper proposes a turbo equalization model for LDPC codes able to apply MIMO systems combined with STTC codes. Through simulation results, we show that the performance of the proposed turbo equalization model is improved about 2.5 dB than that of turbo codes and about 10.5dB than that of conventional scheme.

Near Capacity Approaching for Large MIMO Systems by Non-Binary LDPC Codes with MMSE Detection

In this paper, we have investigated the application of non-binary LDPC codes to spatial multiplexing MIMO systems with a large number of low power antennas. We demonstrate that such large MIMO systems incorporating with low-complexity MMSE detector and non-binary LDPC codes can achieve low probability of bit error at near MIMO capacity. The new proposed non-binary LDPC coded system also perform...

Iterative Equaliser and Ldpc Algorithms Using Space- Time Block Coded over Non-binary Fields Applied to Wireless Channel

The aim of this paper is to propose a new combination of turbo equalisation with Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) both over non-binary fields, concatenated with space time block coded over a wireless channel with QPSK modulation. A detail comparison with other communication methods such as turbo equalisation and binary LDPC decoding is included. This system produces a gain of 2 dB for a 3 10 = B...

Experimental demonstration of mitigation of linear and nonlinear Impairments in Fiber-Optic Communication Systems by LDPC-coded turbo equalization

The ever-increasing demands for transmission capacity are the cause for the quick evolution of optical communication systems. Channel transmission at 100 Gb/s is already being considered by network operators. The major transmission impairments at these high rates are intra-channel and inter-channel nonlinearities, nonlinear phase noise, and polarization mode dispersion. By implementing LDPC-cod...
